Job Description
We are recruiting an accountant responsible for general and analytical accounting, preparing financial statements and ensuring compliance with tax and social obligations.
Education & Qualifications
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or Management, or a professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is an asset.
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles.
Qualifications / abilities
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, Odoo, Exact, Ciel).
- Good knowledge of tax and legal standards.
- Confidentiality, rigor and reliability.
Professional Experience
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or accounting assistance.
- Experience with external partners is appreciated.
- Desired experience in:
- Customer billing
- Customer relations
- Payment tracking
- Bank reconciliations
- Supplier management and payment
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in at least one accounting software program:
- Zoho Books (ideal)
- CRM
- QuickBooks / Odoo / Sage
- Excellent command of:
- Excel / Google Sheets
- XLS files (tables, filters, simple formulas)
LANGUAGES
- French: excellent written and spoken level (required)
- English: professional level (written and spoken)
- Dutch: an asset, but not mandatory
