Pharmacist
Job Location- Musanze
At mPharma, we start and end our day thinking about how we can enable patients to afford their medications. We’re a small but growing team of 300+ members, headquartered in Accra, Ghana, backed by mission-driven investors. We’ve joined hands with third-party payers, drug manufacturers, and healthcare providers to develop products and services that directly reduce the costs of prescription drugs for patients. In only a few years, we’ve managed to provide low-cost, high-quality medicines to hundreds of thousands of patients across seven African countries(Ghana, Nigeria, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Rwanda & Malawi).
Position Description
mPharma is looking for a responsible and trustworthy professional with exceptionally high work standards to join our team as a Pharmacist. The job of the Pharmacist entails building and managing mPharma’s in-house delivery pharmacy to handle dispensations to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with a team of nurses and to ensure operations are seamless between shifts.
* Dispense and check prescriptions filled by Doctors to ensure good dispensing practices are followed.
* Manage the logistics system and ensure that deliveries to the facility happen on time.
* Manage customer experience.
* Maintain and manage inventory, order new supplies when necessary and keep inventory updated.
* Preparing medications by reviewing and interpreting prescriptions and detecting therapeutic incompatibilities (Drug Drug interactions).
* Complying with regulatory requirements by maintaining records for controlled substances; removing outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.
* Contributing to any other initiatives that are critical to the pharmacies continued success
* Recruiting, training and managing staff

* Fluent in English with excellent writing, verbal, analytical, and organizational skills and Kinyarwanda.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel sheets.
* A self-starter who can multitask while consistently producing high quality deliverables for a diverse set of concurrent initiatives.
* Experience working in a pharmacy and managing teams is an advantage.
Qualifications
* B Pharm. or Pharm. D degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college/university.
* Valid practicing license.
* At least 1 – 2 years experience working in a Retail Pharmacy or Hospital Pharmacy.
* Gross salary of RWF 1.050M
