Program Description: our intention and interventions rely on country perspectives as Rwanda is a growing country with aspirations of becoming a “knowledge-based economy” that provides services countrywide and beyond; To get there, the country needs to ensure its workforce can meet the needed skills and capacity.
Overview of the Business and financial management capacity building Program
The program aimed to strengthen the capacity of users on selected theme to cover up the gaps meet on daily basis in order to enhance their capacity for better performance.The program tailored to shape significantly participants by reducing their pain and low productivity due to limited skills; attending this program effectively led to increased capacity to deliver consistently and smoothly, consequently improve the quality and quantity of work carried out.
The participants will be trained on TAXATION, ADVANCED EXCEL QUICKBOOKS AND SAGE100(Sage100 upon request); these will led to pain reduction in financial tracking, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. The training will be 85% practical where participants will gain practical skills .
At the end of the training the participants will be able to make impact and drive their business and institutions productively in efficiency manner.
Technical Approach and Targeted participants
The program were tailored with the purpose of contributing to the enhancement of end-user of selected module to bridge the gaps in they daily tasks and adhere to the update and changes occurred.The course will be delivered by experienced trainers with extensive knowledge.program targeted all interested practitioners people Men,Women and Youth.
Expected Impact: If skills of operators increased, the time spent to undertake their daily tasks be reduced, poor performance eliminated, consequently the quality of produced work will be increased considerably.
Program Objectives: The objective of the program is to strengthen capacity,skills and knowledge clients have while use and manipulate the selected module and packages;Specifically by: supporting participants to enhance their skills through proper use of packages and fill out the gap of participants in order to unlock their future power with required skills and ability to deliver as required.

1. TAXATION (RWANDAN CONTEXT)

- Understand different types of taxes including;
- VAT: Input, output and payable VAT,
- WHT:withheld based on the regime,
- PAYE and SOCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS: Pay as you Earn paid by employees based on rates and thresholds fixed by tax administration; Pensions based on RSSB fixed scheme,
- CIT&PIT: Corporate income tax and Personal income tax; imposed based on earnings in fiscal period and we will get more on Quarterly income tax payment.
- DECENTRALIZED TAXES: imposed at decentralized government level notably district like Patent and Trading license. We will get more information on new taxes and reforms happened last semester of 2025 like levy on petrol&Gas, Environment levy and tourism tax on accommodation, Vehicle tax®istration fees, …

QUICKBOOKS AND SAGE 100
We used to provide training, set up and installation services of different Accounting software including but not limited to QUICKBOOKS, SAGE100 and ERPs (Enterprise Resources Planning software). During this training we will be focusing on the first.
Learning Outcomes
Ability to set and navigate Quickbooks modules ( Introduction to QuickBooks Desktop, Company Setup, setup of charts of accounts, Managing Customers and suppliers, recordings of expenses and deposits, Inventory Management and Reconciliation, Fixed Assets & Loans management, Reporting, customization& Analysis and Backup, Security &file repair.
