Subject: Recruitment of a mathematics teacher – Urgent replacement
The POLARIS school , located at 4 KG 784 St Gisozi, Gasabo, Kigali, Rwanda, is looking for 1 French-speaking teacher of Mathematics (PEI1, PEI2 for 15 hours), Science (PEI1 for 3 hours), Civics (PEI5 for 4 hours), to provide teaching in PEI1, PEI2, PEI5 as part of a temporary replacement .
Desired profile:
- Diploma in Mathematics Education or equivalent.
- Excellent level of French, being a French speaker is an asset.
- Proven experience in international or bilingual schools , IB being an asset.
- Ability to teach the MYP1, MYP2, and MYP5 programs
- Ability to work with students of varying levels and to maintain a motivating and structured learning environment.
- Available immediately .
Main responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver lessons in accordance with the IB school curriculum.
- Regularly assess students and provide educational support.
- Collaborating with the educational team to ensure continuity of teaching.
- Adapt teaching methods to the needs of students.
Terms :
- Contract type: Temporary replacement (Until January 30, 2026, possibly renewable).
- Location: Kigali, Rwanda
- Remuneration: According to the Institution’s internal scale .
- Start date: As soon as possible .
