Accountant

Job Description

  • Create payment vouchers, track permitted payments for filing, and prepare payment vouchers;
  • Frequently updating the books of accounts for RDRC;
  • RDRC account reconciliation, ensuring that any discrepancy is looked into and resolved;
  • Work with DAF to prepare pertinent financial reports;
  • In charge of managing the RDRC’s fixed assets and making sure the asset registry is updated annually;
  • Enter all daily transactions into the general ledger and match them to the bank statement.
  • Compare the accounts of creditors and debtors and look into any discrepancies;
  • Create annual and monthly predictions of cash flows for management;
  • Create periodic progress reports for component-specific expenditures (monthly, quarterly, and yearly) and variance analyses (actual versus budgeted expenditures);
  • Submit regular reports to his or her supervisor;
  • Enter IFMS with a record of all financial transactions;
  • Prepare employee compensation and statutory deductions in coordination with HRMS;
  • Control the payment of financial compensation to former soldiers, including allowances and operating costs;
  • Computes and declares statutory taxes to prepare them;
  • Maintains the ledgers for accounts due and receivable;
  • Create annual and monthly budgets for the RDRC and guarantee that they are implemented properly;
  • Create a report on the petty cash;
  • Make sure that external auditors are properly prepared;
  • Carry out any other official tasks delegated by the boss.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a foundation level one of CPA/CIA/CPFA/CPFM/ACCA (Applied Knowledge of ACCA) or Stage two of CAT/ API Certificate, Finance, Economics with a foundation level one of CPA/CIA/CPFA/CPFM/ACCA (Applied Knowledge of ACCA) or Stage two of CAT/ API Certificate Or Management with a foundation level one of CPA/CIA/CPFA/CPFM/ACCA (Applied Knowledge of ACCA) or Stage two of CAT/ API Certificate With 0 Year of relevant experience.

2. Secretary at Mutobo Demobilization center

Job Description

  • Reporting to the Center Manager;
  • Accountable to the Center Manager;
  • Control the Center Manager’s office;
  • Assure the secure transfer, publication, and administration of information, including the routing of documents;
  • Ensure the professional and secure filing of all Center-related papers,
  • Maintain secrecy in the management of all documents and information flow,
  • Create and send to his or her supervisor daily situation reports, weekly flash reports, monthly statistical reports, and quarterly narrative reports,
  • Carry out any other official tasks delegated by the boss.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Advanced Diploma in Secretarial Studies, Office Management with 0 Year of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Secretarial Studies, Public Administration, Administrative Sciences, Sociology, Management, Office Management, Business Administration with 0 Year of relevant experience

3. Secretary to DAF Unit

Job Description

  • Accountable to the Director of Administration and Finance;
  • Maintain the DAF’s office file;
  • Assure the secure transfer, publication, and administration of information, including the routing of documents;
  • Keep an eye on the invoices register.
  • Keep track of all receipts and invoices;
  • Work with a different department;
  • In charge of communication sending and receiving and directing it through standard channels;
  • Submit regular reports to his or her supervisor;
  • Carry out any other official tasks delegated by your supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Secretarial Studies, Public Administration, Administrative Sciences, Sociology, Management, Office Management, Business Administration with 0 Year of relevant experience
