
Job Description
Solution Driven Property is seeking a skilled Agriculture Farm Manager to support our growing portfolio of agricultural and land development projects in Rwanda. We are looking for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in agricultural management, land supervision, and technical advisory support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agricultural assessments, sustainable land-use planning, and driving productivity across diverse farming systems and operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and supervise agricultural land under Solution Driven Property, ensuring optimal use, productivity, and long-term sustainability.
- Lead and participate in agricultural assessments, evaluations, and field-based research to support evidence-driven decision-making.
- Provide technical guidance and consultation on crop production, soil management, irrigation, and sustainable land-use practices.
- Develop, review, and implement agriculture and land management plans tailored to the company’s strategic objectives.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to inform land development strategies and agricultural investment decisions.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals, and documentation related to agricultural activities and land supervision.
- Engage with stakeholders, including local farmers, cooperatives, agronomists, and local authorities, to support successful project implementation.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in agriculture and land management within the Rwandan context.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of proven professional experience in the agriculture sector in Rwanda.
- The candidate must be based in Bugesera District to ensure consistent on-site supervision and easy access to the company’s agricultural land and projects.
- Demonstrated experience in agricultural assessments, land supervision, and technical advisory roles.
- Strong understanding of sustainable farming systems, land-use planning, and agricultural productivity enhancement.
- Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and comprehensive technical reports.
- Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda is required; French is an added advantage.
