Job Purpose
The Motorcycle or Car Driver will be responsible for ensuring safe, timely, and efficient delivery of medical supplies and documents to various healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will be reliable, disciplined, and able to adapt to the fast-paced nature of medical logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a motorcycle or car to transport and deliver medical supplies to designated locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in excellent condition
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and recipient confirmation
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
- Handle medical supplies with care, ensuring proper storage and transport
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams, supervisors, and clients when necessary.
- Conduct routine checks and basic maintenance on the motorcycle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Report any mechanical issues, delays, or incidents promptly to the supervisor.
- Uphold IMG’s standards of professionalism, integrity, and customer service during all interactions.
Job Requirements
- A valid and active motorcycle or car driving license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of one year of proven experience driving a motorcycle or car.
- Criminal clearance certificate.
- National ID.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to understand, speak, and write in English (highly considered).
- Honest, disciplined, and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good knowledge of road safety rules and routes with in Rwanda
