JOB DESCRIPTION/ MARKETING & SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Are you aspiring to work for an international agency with opportunities of learning and advancement? AG Partners Africa Rwanda is looking for a Marketing and sales representative for our office in Kigali.
As a marketing & sales representative you will set up to be responsible for generating leads and meeting sales goals. Duties will include sales presentations and product demonstrations, as well as negotiating contracts with potential clients for Rwanda and Burundi markets.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have a deep understanding of the marketing / sales process and dynamics and also superb interpersonal skills. Previous experience in a sales role is an advantage.
Primary functions & Responsibilities:
- Contact potential clients
- Follow up on leads
- Meet and negotiate all contracts with prospective clients.
- Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Understanding and promoting company products and services.
- Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
- Answering client questions about products, prices, and availability.
Essential Qualifications & skills:
- Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, business administration or related field.
- Experience in marketing and sales.
- Motivation and Understanding for the marketing process and dynamics.
- A commitment to excellent customer service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prospecting, presentation & closing skills
- Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook.
- Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
